Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or disconnected from yourself?

If you’ve been moving through life on autopilot — always doing, giving, managing — and feeling worn thin or stretched too far, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where the pace of life leaves them anxious, depleted, or unsure how to return to themselves.


Here’s what I want you to know:
Within you, there is already a steady place of calm, clarity, and ease. Sometimes you simply need the right support to reconnect with it.


At Life Balance, I walk alongside you on that journey.


My work blends somatic skills, nervous system regulation, yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and counseling to help you slow down, breathe more fully, and gently come back into connection with your body and inner wisdom.


Rooted in somatic therapy, this approach supports you in:

At Life Balance, my approach is grounded in the understanding that healing happens through the body, not just the mind — and that the nervous system plays a central role in how we experience stress, emotion, and connection.


Rather than pushing for change or just managing symptoms, I focus on helping your nervous system feel supported, safe, and capable of settling. When this happens, clarity, resilience, and calm begin to emerge naturally.


My work is rooted in somatic therapy and nervous system regulation, integrating breath, gentle movement, mindful awareness, and body-based practices that help you reconnect with your inner signals and innate capacity for balance.


This approach emphasizes:

  • Building awareness of how stress and emotion live in the body
  • Learning to respond to activation with compassion rather than force
  • Developing skills that support regulation in real-life moments
  • Moving at a pace that honors safety, choice, and personal rhythms

This program blends short on-demand practices with live, experiential coaching so regulation becomes something you can feel, trust, and return to in everyday moments. (For individuals, teams, schools, businesses, private practices)
  • Membership- Access short, guided practices—breathwork, movement, and meditation—for calm, focus, and reset anytime.
  • Bi-Weekly Live Group (Adults) – Join live online Nervous System Regulation sessions to practice together, receive guidance, and feel supported in real time.
  • Kids’ Somatic Sessions – Playful, age-appropriate tools for emotional regulation, confidence, and stress relief.
  • Private 1:1 Sessions – Personalized, integrative support to meet your unique needs and goals.
  • Trainings, Workshops & Retreats – Live or online events for schools, healthcare, therapy agencies, or community groups.
  • Corporate Wellness & School Programs – Ongoing wellness memberships with access to my video library plus live somatic trainings (onsite if local, or virtual).

Hi, I’m Layne—a life-loving mother of four, Professional Counselor, Embodiment Coach, and Yoga Psychology & Meditation Teacher. As a busy parent myself, I deeply understand how overwhelming life can feel when you're constantly balancing family, work, and everything else in between. 


I’m passionate about helping individuals and families, just like you, regain their sense of calm, balance, and connection.


With over 20 years of experience in counseling, emotional regulation, nervous system healing, and embodiment practices, I guide my clients on a journey to reconnect with themselves—body, mind, and spirit.
